Hi Blunt Followers
SAN FRANCISCO- The Disposable Film Festival starts tomorrow with a lineup of cool films all made with non-traditional hardware – stuff like digital cameras, flatbed scanners, phones- basically anything that can record an image that isn’t a normal video camera. Being such a progressive bunch they’ve taken a shine to Blunt’s ‘Jim and Heinz’ series- to the extent that they invited me and Peter Waldeck here to put on a special Jim and Heinz show.
Unfortunately Peter can only make it in 2D form, but I’ll be representing the J & H crew on Saturday, including such treats as a live powerpoint history of the picture story format and the world premiere of the new Jim and Heinz: ‘Critical Error=True’
Anyway, I’ve been here about 8 hours, eaten some pretty decent Chinese food and found the only cash machine that doesn’t charge you for withdrawing money. Unfortunately I found it right after being charged $3 for taking some money out of a different machine. I also made an arse of myself on a bus because since the last time I came here they raised the fares and I didn’t know and thought I had the correct change when in fact I didn’t.
I’ll put some video footage up later. (ie when I’ve taken some)
