It's a girl!

--y was born yesterday at 7pm

labour was 3 hours at home (intended) but ----i had been getting intermittent contractions all day.
It was all quite straightforward in the end (albeit 8 days early). Midwives arrived and took measurements, I wired ----i up to the TENS electrodes and massaged her back during the contractions. The waters broke, out came the head, ----i squatted as I held her up, out came the rest and there she was- a wriggling screaming purple thing.

tired: of course, but it's getting easier
