Today I am 32

Happy Birthday to me
It snowed very heavily on London yesterday, much to everyone's surprise. More surprisingly the snow stayed on the ground- all 3 inches of it. For those of you who don't live here this happens very rarely in London. Maybe once every 7 years.
Anyway, the weather on my birthday has been fantastic- one of those cloudless, clear, crisp winter days with loads of sunshine and with the snow everywhere just sparkling. What a day to go to the heath with the kids and do some sledging, eh? Then out in the evening with the wife to a cozy local restaurant?
No? well how about spending the day vomiting and shitting rusty water in the early hours, then staggering to the chemist with similarly afflicted children while the wife stays at home sleeping and vomiting. Then having one child vomit copiously on the Kentish Town Road over the buggy of the other. Then going home and having same child puke into a bucket while her younger brother tries (and suceeds) to climb into the same bucket for reasons fathomable only to his own 1 year old brain.
Then cancelling the babysitter and staying in to watch the Sopranos instead.
Guess which version of events was the one that befell me on my 32nd birthday?
Ok, it wasn't all bad. Patents came round with loads of nice gifts. Another great one on order thanks to ----i, Walked up Parliament Hill with --m and watched the people sledging (which is a story in itself which I may write on later). Then a cup of tea and slice of pan forte at the cafe.
Got to go- 'Sopranos' on in a minute.
